Tracer

Tracer is a tool that provides efficient and effective route tracing capabilities, utilizing graph algorithms and real-time data obtained from CROSS through Kafka.

APIs enable Tracer to be utilized by other modules within the system, such as CROSS Circuit and Checker. It encompasses the complete network topology, including transport resource domains, and allows for the specification of specialized tracing policies to meet specific technical design requirements. 

Tracer also supports parameterization of these policies, enabling the configuration of disabled links and nodes, defining meeting points for cross-connections, and assigning preferences based on specific attributes. With its comprehensive tracing capabilities and customizable features, Tracer serves as a valuable tool in optimizing network management and performance within the CROSS ecosystem.
