The CROSS network inventory solution provides rich visibility of all resources, enabling rapid service rollout, activation and delivery for BNET’s national wholesale fiber and broadband network.
CROSS Network Intelligence (CNI) has partnered with BearingPoint//Beyond for the delivery of a complete OSS and BSS solution to newly-established fiber and broadband provider, BNET. BNET, which offers wholesale services to service providers in Bahrain, is a subsidiary of Batelco, the largest provider in the Kingdom.
While BearingPoint//Beyond provides a cloud-native SaaS-based BSS (Infonova) and automated OSS, on AWS, CNI is delivering the network inventory solution, which is fundamental to service delivery and management.
CROSS, the integrated, agile network inventory solution from CNI, providers complete visibility of all inventory assets, through a common data model and interface. In turn, this allows enhanced automation, enabling BearingPoint//Beyond to deliver the agility sought by BNET. For example, dynamic visibility of resources and their availability accelerates service fulfillment and activation, ensuring that BNET’s customers obtain the connectivity they require, quickly and efficiently.
Because the combined solution is delivered on AWS, elastic scale is enabled, allowing the solution to scale according to BNET’s requirements and helping reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). As a result, BNET can quickly respond to new opportunities and deliver new levels of performance to its customers, as it builds out the new national wholesale fiber and broadband network for Bahrain.
“This is a major step forward for CNI, representing entry into yet another new market”, commented Jan Ulc, CEO of CNI. “We’re excited to have partnered with BearingPoint//Beyond and to be supporting the launch of a new fiber and broadband provider in Bahrain. We look forward to further collaboration.”
The deployment is the first time that CROSS has been deployed from a cloud platform. CROSS seamlessly integrates with BearingPoint//Beyond’s digital platform solutions and will support the ambitious plan to extend fiber and broadband connectivity for the Kingdom of Bahrain.
